Together We Raised $20,000 for BCRF

Thank you everyone for helping the Aveda Institutes Florida raise $20,000 for the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation during the month of October.  The Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder.  Since 2004, Aveda has contributed $1.2 million! 

Here’s how we did it:

How old do I need to be for beauty school?

The Magic Number is…

Sweet sixteen! It is required that students are above compulsory school age, which is 16, to attend the Aveda Institute Florida.  Additionally, students must have earned either a high school diploma or GED prior to acceptance into the Aveda Institute’s educational programs.  However, attending beauty school is about more than just your age, it is about your ability to further your education in preparation for life…your life! 

At the Aveda Institutes Florida, we value the importance of all education and we believe it is through education that:

• knowledge is received and shared
• our minds are opened to new ideas and 
• we are prepared for wise leadership and personal development.

So…if you’re 16, have your diploma/GED, you’re good to go!!
